Travel

The closest airport is Portland International Airport. Downtown Washougal is a 20-30 minute drive depending on traffic.

Lodging

We have a room block (with discounted rates) at the Best Western Plus in Washougal, Washington. You can book a room by calling them at (360) 835-9292. Mention the Greer wedding to get our room block, or you can book online using this link.

Transportation

Because the venue is in a remote location north of Washougal, we will provide busses to and from the wedding venue. The busses will leave the Washougal Best Western parking lot at 3:30PM, then stop by the Camas Boutique Hotel before proceeding to the venue. After dinner, there will be two opportunities to catch a bus back: 9:30PM and 10:30PM.

If you are not staying at either hotel, we recommend parking at or near one of them and hopping on the bus.

Please do not plan on driving to the venue. The road is an old logging trail with several thousand feet of elevation gain. There is no cell phone service. There are no street signs. GPS is not accurate. You will get lost.

Timeline

Busses to the venue will arrive at the Washougal Best Western at 3:15PM to pick up guests and depart at 3:30PM. They'll stop by the Camas Boutique Hotel to pick up more guests, and then proceed to the venue. The ceremony will start around 5PM on the tree deck. Immediately afterwards, refreshments (snacks and drinks) will be available on the lawn. Dinner starts at 7PM, followed by some short speeches and then dancing. The first bus back leaves at 9:30PM. Two more busses will leave at 10:30PM.

Attire

Please wear semi-formal attire in pastels and/or neutral colors. Wear comfortable shoes, as the venue is entirely outdoors. (Don’t worry, there are real bathrooms.) Don’t be afraid to sparkle. 💖

Other Information

You probably won't have cell phone service at the venue. There is no Internet access.

Since the venue is outdoors, we will have a few outdoor games such as cornhole and giant Jenga for anyone who wants an alternative to dancing. Remember to bring comfortable shoes!

Beverages will include beer, wine, hard seltzer, and several non-alcoholic refreshments.
